Well, it’s about time that I posted a project that isn’t for a design team! I just realized that I’ve been so busy with life and school and stuff that I haven’t posted anything that isn’t for a design team in quite awhile. This project isn’t for me exactly . . . It’s for my sister-in-law. She asked me to create a special wedding card for her goddaughter, who is getting married next month. I used a card from the very creative, very generous Bird.
I typed the sentiment using a font on my computer called AdineKirnberg-Script. I love this sophisticated font. I added a few details on the cake itself with the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder and some Liquid Pearls. The tiny heart at the top is a punch.
I used some CTMH white card stock as well as some textured card stock that I had in my stash for some textural interest, and matted it with silver metallic paper.
I have a stamp that says May you live happily ever after, but it didn’t fit with the size of my card, so I typed it using the same font as on the front.
Hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it! And I hope the bride likes it!
