I get so excited when I can craft with something that wasn’t intended to be used for crafting, for example, the cover for a paper pack! I used the papers and elements in this kit to make a mini-album for my student teacher, but didn’t want to waste the front cover. I made three cards out of the cover:
The only difference is that the paper is shiny. I also had one small piece of patterned paper left from the pack to make this square card:
The apples are cut from Create a Critter and the twine is Trendy Twine. I’m working on a group of cards now that also utilizes the cover to a 6 x 6 paper pad. Hopefully, I’ll post that project later this week!!

Evelyn, these are such cute little cards! it’s funny you have this post, I was looking at a cover last evening of a paper pad G45 that I have and thinking what I could cut with it! thanks for sharing them 🙂
I’d say GENIUS! This trio of cards is super cute. I don’t know about cheap or frugal, since if you actually knew the total cost of all of your crafty supplies and divided by the value of everything you have ever made, it is an expensive hobby. It is the bonus projects like these that are the most rewarding sometimes; a big bonus 🙂
