Cut it Up – Wedding

CIU challenge blogJune is the perfect time for a wedding, so that’s what Emily chose as our theme for this challenge over at Cut it Up!  The catch is that you must include a bell or bells on your project.  My niece got married a few weeks ago, and instead of making her a card, I was inspired to make a mini album like Ginger’s  over at My Sister’s Scrapper.

This is how it turned out:

The bells are from Stretch Your Imagination and the font is from Botanicals.

Here are the inside pages:

Two pages are “pocket pages” with inserts on the sides (with tabs.)  This is the first one.

This page on the left hand side has a pocket for her to put cards or photos.  The right hand side is two smaller pockets with tags.

This page on the right is a fold up flap.  This is what it looks like open:

I put another pocket underneath. . .

and it’s also a pocket page with a huge insert for a photo.

I think it turned out pretty nice, although the papers had a lot to do with that.  The papers are from two stacks — Bridal Bliss 12 x 12 by Recollections and Bella Armoire 8 x 8 by Die Cuts With a View.  Gorgeous, aren’t they? And they really worked well together.

Our sponsors this week are:

Sponsored By: As Cute as a Button — $20.00 Coupon Code and Die-Versions — a $15.00 Gift Certificate!

Stop by Cut it Up Challenges to check out the awesome projects made by the DT members and to link up your own Wedding with BELLS!  project.  Can’t wait to see what you made!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
