Let’s Go to the Beach!

This is the perfect beach weather, especially if you’re a beach person (which I am not!  I’m a mountain person.)  But it’s always fun to make a beach-themed page.

Let’s Go to the Beach is the theme for this week’s Paper Crafting World challenge.

I decided to make a two-page layout for this challenge.  If you come back this weekend for our July Blog Hop, you’ll see who I’m donating it to!

I used the adorable Hippo as Ballerina file with added elements from Every Day Paper Dolls to adorn my pages:

The hippo is cut at 5.5 inches.  I used the gypsy to stretch the duck floatie to 2.5 inches wide by 3/4 inch high.  I cut the sandals at one inch width, but had to trim them to fit.  The font is Apple Casual.  The polka dot yellow base is from Close to My Heart’s Dotty for You pack, and the rectangle with the sun and “summer”on it is also CTMH – from the Footloose paper pack.

Let’s see your beach projects.  (I know you’ve been working on them!!)  Link them up at PCW/CWC.  And also please stop back this weekend and come to Paper Crafting World/Cooking With Cricut’s blog hop!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.
