Welcome to Paper Crafting World and Cooking With Cricut’s Blogaversary Blog Hop! Happy 2nd Blogaversary, Melin!!
Both Design Teams are playing together this weekend making projects fitting for a second anniversary. The traditional gifts are cloth, crystal and glass, so that’s what we’re using. This is a two-day hop and the designers on both teams are amazingly talented (if I say so myself!), so you won’t want to miss a thing! Be sure to hop both days, starting at Cooking With Cricut, because each day will feature different projects to inspire you!!
We’ll be celebrating our blogaversary all week long. This hop is just the kick off! Each day this week we’ll be showing you fabulous projects made by our designers and each day we will be giving away freebies like vintage graphics, digital printables and/or electronic cutting files! So you will want to make CWC-PCW a daily stop for the next week!
You should have arrived here from visiting Melin at Cooking With Cricut/Paper Crafting World. If not, why not go there now and start at the beginning? (But come right back!!)
So, here’s my project. I chose to use glass:
Every student in my school has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) so the IEP team and each student’s family meets every year to review the student’s progress and plan for the next year. Our IEP coordinator does an AMAZING job scheduling and running the meetings and everything else associated with it. She’s unflappable! She’s an IEP Queen! She does a ton of work, and I wanted to thank her by giving her some bath salts to relax and celebrate the end of this year’s of IEP season.
I decorated a recycled Frappuccino bottle using PCW’s Bear as Princess. On the other side, I used shapes from the Sure Cuts a Lot library, a shield and a banner, to profess her status as IEP Queen:
The lid expresses my appreciation. I stamped some card stock using a Thank You stamp then cut it out using two punches from Stampin’ Up.
I made a similar gift for my wonderful Teacher’s Assistant using Celeste Butterfly from Paper Crafting World. This one’s filled with Skittles:
These little gifts are always appreciated and are so easy to put together, especially when you have thought ahead and made extra cuts.
There are several prizes to be won for this blog hop, including some Cartridges and fantastic supplies from some of our sponsors, so be sure to head over and join the fun at CWC-PCW. There is a “cloth, crystal or glass” challenge you can enter to win as well as other super blog candy just for being a follower and commenting, so don’t miss out!
I have some “blog candy” to give away, too. It’s this cute springtime explosion box filled with surprises!
To be eligible to win, please leave a comment here. If you are a follower or become a follower 🙂 leave a second comment telling me so for a second chance to win. (Don’t forget to let me know how to contact you!) I will have random.org pick the winner Wednesday morning.
Well, thank you for visiting my blog. Stop by again any time!!
Head on over and check out what Larelyn at Handmade From My Heart has cooked up!
