Cut it Up – Pink

October is the month to think pink! At Cut it Up, the challenge is to create a project that’s mostly pink. You can create something for Breast Cancer Awareness or any other occasion as long as it’s pink. My project is a birthday card.

I used only bits from my scrap stash for this card. That’s always very satisfying! I dry embossed the base paper using the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder. The Scallop Tag die was from our sponsor, CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. I think it must be retired now because I can’t find it on their site. The cute little “flowers” are actually Jumping Jacks Dies, also from CAS-ual Fridays, and the big B-Day sentiment is from their Celebrate stamp set.

Hope you join us at Cut it Up for our Pink challenge. The $20 prize is from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.

Ok, why didn’t I think of using those Jumping Jacks as flowers! What a great idea! Love the happy background, too!

Love your beautiful pink card. The embossing is perfect for your card. I think I might even have that embossing folder. Time to go through my stuff again!

    Have a good weekend.
