First batch of cards from scattered cuts

Here’s the first group of cards made from those leftovers from my desk.  I had a bunch of 4×4 images.  This quilt square is one of them.  This card is loosely based on that Operation Write Home sketch #154 that Kristie Marcotte uses so often.  She always makes it look so good, but I wasn’t too happy with mine.  I do watch her a lot and have learned a lot from her, so I followed her affiliate link to Love from Lizi and bought some of those peel offs.  The snowflake and banner dies are from Stampin’ Up, their Snowflake Card Thinlits Die set.

The second card uses the chimney from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge, minus the face. The twine is Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine.

All the patterned papers are from my desk.  The gray polka dot is the reverse side of the peppermint striped paper.  Below is a picture showing you what I used up for these cards.  The quilt is in that stack of 4×4 images. I’ll show you what I did with the rest tomorrow.  Evelyn

Like what you did with your left overs, nice cards, I really like what you did with the chimney might have to lift that idea.
