CIU Rainbow

Don’t you just love to see a rainbow? They’re such a delight to see. I look for one after almost every rainstorm.

Here’s a picture I took of my daughter taking a picture of a rainbow back in 2014. It’s the best one I could find on my computer!

For my Cut it Up project, gussied up the front of a cheap dollar store photo album that I filled with pictures of my children and grandchildren. I’m going to take this little album on my upcoming road trip to see people I haven’t seen in years. I’d like to show them my family but don’t really like looking at pictures on people’s phones so I decided to have some 4 x 6s printed out.

I used a die set supplied by one of our sponsors for this challenge, Pink and Main. It’s simply called Rainbow Dies and includes the two clouds, the sun, the rainbow, and a tiny heart. I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge for the text.

We actually have two sponsors for this challenge, Pink and Main, who is donating a $25 surprise prize package and my design teammate, Leslie, who is donating some rainbow-themed craft items! So, double the chance to win! Hope to see your rainbow-themed project over at Cut it Up!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.

Great idea to make the cover of your photo book! I like printed pics, also! Something about holding it in your hand and turning the pages.

  4. What a gorgeous cover for your photo album. That rainbow is great!
