Cut it Up Birthday Cards

The theme for this new challenge at Cut it Up is Birthday. We’re encouraging you to get a start on the cards you’ll need for next year, which starts tomorrow!! Yikes!

I took this to mean “Birth” day and created a card for a new baby. Makes perfect sense it’s being the new year and all! 😉 I used a file from Oddball Art, a couple of files in fact. I printed and cut Kawaii Hanging Hearts on a rectangle in Silhouette Design Studio. Then I colored, printed, and cut their totally adorable little Kawaii Valentine Giraffe Cutelyn and glued it onto the rectangle with the hearts. I mounted it on a postage stamp shape die cut .

I like the soft colors contrasting with the black mat.

Hope to see your birthday (or birth day) cards over at Cut it Up. You could win a cute stamp and die set by Pink and Main!

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.
