A little beauty + simplicity

The other day, I had need of a little beauty and simplicity.  Since I still have my Cricut Expression and all my cartridges, I thought using those would be the perfect solution to get me out of my funk, and it did!

In just a couple of minutes, I selected the beautiful fan from page 26 of the Olé cartridge, had it cut out of scraps, and glued together.  It took longer to make the actual card than it did to make the fan!  There were a couple sheets left over from the Honey Bee Stamps Sweet on You  paper pad.  I chose one with complementary colors and embossed it.  Then I decided I liked the reverse side of the embossing better, so I used that.  Here’s my card, simple and beautiful.I may add a pearl or pearl drop to the flower centers.  Making this quick, simple card lifted my spirits that day!
