I do, however, totally enjoy “my” wild birds! We have three feeders in the front of the house that attract so many cuties: sparrows, finches, titmice, bluejays, cardinals, woodpeckers, mockingbirds, even starlings and blackbirds. I love them all (though not the starlings as much — they took over my daughter’s woodpecker family’s nest once. I haven’t forgiven them.)
Since I needed a bookmark, that’s what I made, and some extras for my pen pals. I wanted to use product from our sponsor, Newton’s Nook. Included in their Forest Scene Builder Die Set, there are three wild birds. I did a google image search for a bird feeder and found this one. I brought it into Silhouette Design Studio and traced it, then cut it out and glued my little birds onto my bookmark template. This is what I came up with. The first two I put together have no embossing, but they just looked too plain for me. The embossing folder I chose for the rest is from Cuttlebug’s Plum Blossom Set.
Head on over to Cut it Up to see what the other design team members’ favorite pets are, then link up your own project. The prize is a $20 store credit from Newton’s Nook! Plenty of pet-related products there!!
