Cut it Up – Boys Will be Boys!

We had the perfect paper pack to work with for this challenge, the Steampunk Digital Paper Pack from Digital Delights by Louby Loo!  Grungy, steampunky, technical.  I loved working with it!

So…the challenge.  At Cut it Up, we challenge you to create a masculine-themed project for our Boys Will be Boys challenge.  I have two brothers and both of them will have birthdays this year, AND they’re both gear-heads!  so I took the opportunity to create cards for them with this paper.

I love a good pun.  I also love a bad pun!  I made this one up myself.  Get it?  🙂

I used the Side Step card svg from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  I dragged the digi paper onto my mat and then positioned the svg rectangles over the part of the paper I wanted to show on them, then print/cut.  The gears were a freebie saved long ago on my computer.

Head on over to Cut it Up to check out the cool inspiration there, then link up your own masculine project.  Digital Delights by Louby Loo is donating a $5 prize to our winner!

About Evelyn

These cards are so much fun! I may need to ‘steel’ this gear8 pun for my Dad’s birthday card! hahaha Wonderful design and very cool how you got the print to line up exactly where it showed best!
