Cut it Up – Red, White, and Blue

Three cheers for the red, white, and blue!!

When I was in grammar school, we would start the day with the pledge of allegiance followed by a patriotic song.  I loved singing those songs and I remember them all!  I also remember changing the words to that one and singing, “Three cheers for our web-footed friends, for a duck may be somebody’s mother!”  😄  Anyhow . . .  As you may have guessed, the theme for our current challenge at Cut it Up is Red, White, and Blue.  Our sponsor is The Cutting Cafe, and Regina has given us these two awesome files to work with.  First up is Window Cards.  It comes with 22 window cards!!!!!  I chose to use the star window card.

I left the white base plain so the stars could shine!  😉

Next up was the Star Box.  This file was so easy to work with.  I used some of the extra stars to decorate the box.

I’ll be using this on our family’s upcoming get-together, maybe filled with plasticware wrapped with paper napkins.

Come play along with us at Cut it Up!  As I said, our sponsor for this challenge is The Cutting Cafe.  The prize is three awesome sets!!  I always have so much fun playing with their files!!  🙂

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
