Cut it Up Bunnies and Baskets

Hippity, hoppity, Easter’s on its way!

We’re creating projects with bunnies and/or baskets for Cut it Up this time around!

It took me a long time to decide what to make because there are so many adorable bunnies out there to choose from.  I knew I didn’t want to make a card; that gets boring after awhile.  I came up with a basket with bunnies on it!The basket itself is one I’ve been wanting from Dreaming Tree.  It’s called Bow Basket. It’s so elegant.  You could make it again and again with different papers for all different holidays and occasions.  Instead of using the bow that comes with the file, I used cute animals and I also eliminated the handle.   Here’s the side view:I put this adorable bunny from My Scrap Chick’s Sweet Treat Bunny Bag set on one side and a recent freebie from Little Scraps of Heaven, Sweet Peep, on the other.  It’s a bear that’s holding one of those marshmallow bunny treats!  🙂 The little flower is from CAS-ual Fridays, who is our sponsor for this challenge.  The Fri-die is called 4 Petals.  I thought it would be just the perfect little addition that this basket needed.  The patterned paper is from a very old Close to My Heart paper pack called Dotty for you.  They should bring that one back.  The colors are rich and the paper is great for so many projects.

Hope you join us for this challenge.  You could be the random winner of a $25 gift certificate from CAS-ual Fridays!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
