Cut it Up Hello Spring!

I can’t wait for spring!  It’s my favorite season.  The air smells so fresh and sweet, new life popping up all over . . . It’s just invigorating!

We’re celebrating the return of spring over at Cut it Up for this challenge.  Our sponsor, The Cutting Cafe, gave us some awesome files to work with.  This one is called Tall Flower Shaped Card set.  I used digital paper to fill in all the elements of this beautiful topiary card and a font on my computer for the sentiment.I inked all the pieces to make them stand out a little more.  The little flower is from Recollections.

Using the Tulip Shape card, I made a border for a scrapbook page for adorable photos of my granddaughter in the garden.  She has her very own gardening tools!  I haven’t printed out the photos yet, but I’m all ready for them!

We’d love to see your spring project over at Cut it Up!  You could win three awesome sets from The Cutting Cafe!!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.

Way to go Evelyn, like the soft colors used on your card and a great idea using the tulips for a border on your LO!

  3. What a great idea to use it for a scrapbook page, too! Very creative! Great papers on your card; very “springy”!

Just like you, Springtime is another FAVORITE Season for me… Fall being my first Favorite and Spring my Second! LOL I really don’t care for Summer or Winter… 🙂 It’s been Spring all over the place at my house… We’ve been in the mid to upper 60’s and I see things already blooming… But I do live out West so Spring does last very long for us… It’ll be Summer weather by the time most of the East gets Spring! Pros and Cons to living here I guess! 😉

I LOVE your Topiary card – The shape is awesome and I love the light Spring colors and your layout is so cute with the row of tulips! – Have a great weekend! I’m heading out of town for our Spring Break which starts today! YAY! Chat with you soon! 🙂

Spring, topiaries and shaped cards…three of my favorite things! I love the pretty spring colors you have chosen for this darling card, Eveyln. Your sentiment is perfect. xo Nancy
