Cut it Up – Inspired by a Love Song

We have another challenge for you at Cut it Up.  The theme is Inspired by a Love Song.  I chose Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper, one of my all-time favorite singers.  I found a sweet, touching video of the song by doing a google search. Here it is.

It’s such a beautiful song.  At the very end is a teeny tiny bit of sign language!  See if you can spot it.

Although my card was inspired by a love song, it isn’t a love card.  It’s a birthday card. The grandfather clock is from Cricut’s Wrap it Up cartridge.  The card front is one of my UFOs that I’d hoped to use this year.  the sentiment is from Too Many Birthdays by Jaded Blossom.

Stop by the Cut it Up blog to see what love songs the other designers were inspired by, then link up your own project.  Our sponsor for this challenge is Taylored Expressions, and the prize is a $20 gift certificate to their store!

This would make a nice male b-day card, like the LO of the card, you used one of my favorite Cricut cartridges. Thank you for the song too!
