Die Cuttin’ Divas – Gift Card Holder

We use plenty of gift cards this time of year, so I’m glad to have this Die Cuttin’ Divas challenge to encourage me to make cute holders for them.  There are sooo many cute ones out there!  I picked up this one from the Silhouette store; it’s called the Yeti Hug Gift Card Holder and is design #106543.It was adorable “as is” so I basically copied the model using Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder for his fur.  I love that old Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer movie.  It was on just the other day!  We watched it with popcorn!!   The one modification I made was to use my Martha Stewart snowflake punch to make a little opening in the envelope part where the gift card goes because the card gets lost in there and you can’t see it from the front.  (Hint – if you do this, punch your hole before sealing the sides . . .)  Here’s what it looks like with an iTunes card in there. You could also use it for real money!!  (Imagine that!!)

Can’t wait to see your gift card holder.  Link it up here at Die Cuttin’ Divas.  Check out what the other design team members made – totally awesome!!
