Cut it Up – Just in CASE

Crafters are always deriving inspiration from each other, and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?  🙂  Our current challenge at Cut it Up is to CASE another crafter’s project.  I save lots of projects on my computer to inspire me.  I chose this one to CASE.

I made this card using a file from our sponsor for this challenge, My Scrap Chick.  Two files, in fact.  For the penguin, I used Snow Globes Cards and the holly comes from Stars & Holly.

My card is 5 x 7, but the paper I used was from a 6 x 6 pad.  This is how I solved that problem:I cut off the paper that was hanging over the right-hand side of the card and used it on the bottom.  The white and ribbon border covers the seam!

I think it turned out really cute, don’t you?  We hope to see your CASE’d project over at Cut it Up.  You could win a $20 store credit from My Scrap Chick!!  (Be sure to include a link to the project that you copied.)
