Stick it Down – May 2018

There’s a fun card sketch to use this month at Stick it Down – so many possibilities!!  I immediately thought about using up some of my (very, very old) alphabet stickers, bought before I had any die cutting machines.  Those, with maybe a layer of vellum over top, would make a cool card, but mixing and matching has never been my thing and it would probably result in an awful jumble.  I’ll leave that to the professionals!!  🙂

My second thought was to use an embossing folder.  I have some with numbers all over and some with letters all over, but the one that finally won out was the Hugs and Kisses embossing folder from Cuttlebug because it was in an unopened package!!  (gasp!!)  I know!  Well, forgotten no more.  Ta da!

Here’s the inside.  I had to put a white mat for writing on but thought I’d add a little love on the inside, too, with a tiny heart punch I picked up at Michaels. That’s it!  Hope to see your interpretation over at Stick it Down this month!

By the way, Stick it Down is having a design team call.  There are three teams – card team, single page layout team, and double page layout team.  Check it out here if you’re interested!  You have until May 31st to apply.  Good luck!
