Cut it Up – Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cut it Up Spring Blog Hop!  You should have started your hop from the Cut it Up blog, and arrived here from Georgiana’s.  The whole lineup is at the bottom of my post.

I’m so excited for this.  It’s going to be so much fun because there are designers from two teams participating – the Cut it Up team and some guests from Die Cuttin’ Divas! – (love those ladies!) AND there are prizes!

Scribbles is offering $10 worth of images from their store
Pink and Main is donating a $20 store credit
and Decosse Dynamite Doodles is giving two prizes:
– Winner’s choice of one of the four options offered by DDD
– and an extra prize for one lucky commenter on just the Cut it Up blog. Anyone who leaves a comment on just that blog will be eligible to win a copy of their gorgeous Simply Spring mini kit!

Winners will be chosen from the comments on Cut it Up Challenge Blog by random.org and will be announced on Cut it Up blog on April 17th.  To be eligible to win sponsors’ prizes, you must follow and comment on each of our blogs, including Cut it Up.

Well, enough “housekeeping!”  On to my project!

Spring is my favorite season. I love the sights and smells, but the thing that tickles my fancy the most is the return of the birds. We have a couple of feeders outside our front window and it’s so much fun to watch their antics!  I especially love it when the parents feed the babies! My project is a little birdhouse box from SVG Cuts and uses the striped paper from the aforementioned Decosse Dynamite Doodles’ Simply Spring mini kit.

The flowers are from Recollections and the roof element is embossed with the Swiss Dots Cutlebug embossing folder. Now hop on over to Esther’s blog!  She always impresses!!

Here’s the whole lineup is below, in case you need it.  Remember to comment on and follow each designer and CIU.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.

I love this Evelyn! Sadly in my part of Canada, spring is not really a season, more like a brief mud pile through which we transition from Winter to Summer. But my son and I both celebrate our birthdays in April, so that’s at least fun! TFS 🙂
