PDE Challenges #12 – Photo Inspiration

This is the inspiration photo Janis gave us to work with for this challenge at PDE Challenges.  Isn’t it fun?!?  So many fun ideas came to mind.  It kind of reminds me of something they would make on the Kids Baking Championship shows, which I’m watching now.  After a million ideas swam through my brain, (get it?) I decided I wanted to make a mermaid.   Since I also needed a birthday card, that sealed the deal — a birthday card with a mermaid on it!  🙂

I used two Cricut cartridges to make it – Once Upon a Princess for the mermaid and Lacy Labels for the card.
You can see that I popped the mermaid up for some dimension in this picture:

I think that seahorse she’s holding is just adorable!  🙂  You can link up your project and see the other design team members’ projects here.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
