So many people are cleaning up, clearing out, and organizing their craft rooms lately! I guess it’s the new year, and I’m on board. My room is so messy and unorganized! I’ve been retired almost a year now and still haven’t gotten to it. But the challenge this week at Cut it Up is Organization so I have a little bit of a start. Our sponsor is My Scrap Chick! I can’t tell you how excited I am to have them as a sponsor. I’ve accumulated so many MSC files over the years; they’re adorable!!
The area that is most in need of organizing is my desktop. I have so much stuff on there that there is precious little room to actually work on it. It’s a complete mess, so that’s where I’m starting. This little Apron Trio – Classic box appealed to me (probably because I had just gotten home from a visit with my daughter and granddaughter and we all wore aprons when baking!!) I made three of these boxes. This one will hold my most often used supplies. I wanted to show you what it looks like by itself before I show you where it’s going to “live.” It’ll hang from the little hook on the ATG holder my husband put together for me.The other two will be on the desk but off to the side. They’ll sit there looking pretty while holding business cards that I want to keep and extra die cuts that I have made but don’t want sitting in a pile on the desk as they usually are.So that’s the beginning of the cleaning/organization of my craft room – a very small step. I’ve got a ways to go . . . Hop on over to Cut it Up to see how the other design team members are organizing their spaces and lives, then link up your own projects! Can’t wait to see them and you may win a $20 store credit from My Scrap Chick!!!!
