25 Days of Christmas Crafting – Day 21 – Stockings

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there . . .

Many, many years ago I made cross stitch Christmas stockings for my own kids and we still use them every year.  I needed to make one for my granddaughter, too, so after consulting with her parents about the designs, I started cross stitching.  She was born in December of 2015 so my hope was to get her stocking ready for 2016.  That didn’t happen.  But finally in September of this year I had a very crafty weekend and finished her stocking!  This will be the first year we will use it!  I can’t wait to see what Santa puts in it!!  🙂

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
