25 Days of Christmas Crafting – Day 7 – Gingerbread

Yum, yum, yum!  I love gingerbread men and can’t wait to make a batch this year.  I just use plain 10X sugar and water for the icing, sometimes dyeing it with food coloring and sometimes just leaving it white. These cuties are from Gingerbread Pals, another file with no identification on my computer.  It was downloaded in 2010 and I suspect it may have been from Treasure Box Designs, but it doesn’t say.  I found this adorable “color on wood” kit at Michaels a few weeks ago and picked it up for my granddaughter, but I wanted to dress it up a little (plus give her a couple more paper characters to play with!  🙂  )

The gingerbread man on the right is made using all the face pieces, and I used a face stamp for the one on the left. Both are adhered with removable tape.  The “peeker’s” head and arms are only taped on the top so they can hang over.Cute, aren’t they?

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
