PDE Linky Party – Winter Weather

Brrr!  Winter will be here before you know it – about another month, but there’s already a chill in the air!!  I’m ready for PDE Linky Party’s celebration of Winter Weather (I bet Janis has been having winter weather for months now!!) and ready for winter weather in the real world, too!  Since last year was my last year teaching (retired!!) I won’t have to drive in the snow at all, so bring it on!!

I’m working on some mini albums to give as gifts for Christmas this year.  I took an idea from Kristie Marcotte when making the minis.  She removes all the paper from her paper pack when she’s making cards, so I did the same thing.  That left the paper pad cover on my desk.  I just can’t seem to throw those away; they’re at least as pretty as the papers within!!  There was also a piece of textured white paper on the desk, a leftover bare tree from a halloween project, and a couple of leftover flags.  The little snowman from the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge was in my file of extra cuts.  (I always make many of whatever I’m making.  I fill up the mat.  The extras almost always find a home and come in handy when I need to make something in a hurry.)This is what I made.I glued cotton balls together in a line to make snow.  It’s a little decoration for my craft room using the design of an easel card so that I can fold it flat for storage.  I just love the characters on the HK cartridge.  They’re just so cute and chunky!!Look at that little carrot nose!  🙂

Hope you link your winter weather project at PDE Linky Party  this week!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
