PDE Linky Party – Thanksgiving

PDE Linky Party’s theme this week is Thanksgiving.  It’s right around the corner!  I have a lot of cards to make (haven’t made one yet) but wanted to do something different, so I made this little tic tac toe board.

I cut everything out with my Silhouette but didn’t note anything on my mat as I usually do except for “holiday tic-tac-toe.”  I can’t for the life of me find the image again on my computer to tell you who it’s from!

EDIT 11/12/17 – Found it!  It’s from the Silhouette Design Store, #105493!  It was right there in my library.

I only chose one board to make.  I thought the board and the pieces could be used as a matching game.  I wanted to make it magnetic so I used some magnets sent to me by local businesses (I save these) and sandwiched them between the papers, but they’re not strong enough to hold the elements on the board.  😦  That chipboard frames a big magnet for the board itself. But it’s cute, right?  And I had fun making it.

Let’s see what you’ll bring to the party (the PDE Linky Party, that is!)

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.

That is a clever idea, Evelyn! I love the thought of making it magnetic! So cool… the images are perfect and looks like it would be fun to play while waiting for that turkey to cook! 🙂
