DCD – Pumpkin Season

It’s pumpkin season!  Think of everything that can be done with pumpkins!  They can become decorations, food and drinks.  My son-in-law buys sugar pumpkins, cuts them in half, removes the seeds, and bakes the halves cut side down for a delicious, nutritious side dish.  My sister has an amazing recipe for pumpkin bread that has peanut butter chips in it.  And I always make sure to eat one (and only one) pumpkin doughnut or muffin from Dunkin’ Donuts every year.

The challenge theme this week at Die Cuttin’ Divas is to use a pumpkin on your project.  I chose the pumpkin from the Cricut Autumn Celebrations cartridge.  I just love that one.  All the patterned papers except for the one on the pumpkin itself are from the Pink and Main Pumpkin Spice 6 x 6 paper pad.  I love to buy from Pink and Main.  The business is owned by a lovely woman named Michele.  I love her artwork.  I was on her design team for Designs on Cloud 9 and still have all the svgs from that store.  They are great!

Let’s see your pumpkin projects over at Die Cuttin’ Divas!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.

Super CUTE card! I try EVERYTHING Pumpkin related this time of year! Every time I go to the store and see something NEW with pumpkin SPice I have to buy it…. My son normally ends up eating most of it for me…. But it’s fun to try it and it’s only once a year! 🙂 I just made a card using that same paper pack! Pink & Main has a lot of fun papers & stamps! Hope you have a wonderful Halloween! 🙂
