DCD #337 – October sketch, 2017

It’s the first Tuesday of the month and you know what that means!  A new sketch from Die Cuttin’ Divas!  This one’s a little bit different.  I like the triangle background.  It kind of reminds me of a picture frame, so I’m wondering if anyone will be inspired to use it as such.  I just made a card with it. I used my Cricut Explore again to make it.  The shapes are just part of the program and the little rock singer is from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge.  I couldn’t really figure out what those blue half-circles were; they aren’t really explained in the handbook.  At first I thought they might be necklaces or something to go around her biceps, but eventually I settled on earrings (although you can’t see her ears.)  Who knows?  Your guess is as good as mine.  This is a birthday card for my college-age cousin, who is an actress and singer.  I think she’ll like the rock goddess!  Her hair is just as curly, but not pink!  🙂

I cut out an extra microphone to add the inside of the card for just a little something extra:Check out what the other DT members did with this sketch, then it’s your turn.  Can’t wait to see what you do with it!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.

Love your rocker girl! She’s adorable. I definitely make it a point to get to Starbucks (I don’t go that often) for a peppermint mocha around Christmas. They are finally starting to open some Dunkin’ Donuts in San Diego but so far none by my house. My sister and I took a ride one weekend to get some donuts. It’s funny how much you miss something when you can’t get it! They were so good and definitely hit the spot. One of the first things my husband and I do whenever we visit NJ is go to Dunkin’ Donuts and then “real” pizza!

OMG!!! Yes, I miss Diners so much. In San Diego they think Denny’s is a diner. They just don’t get it. And there is only one bagel place out here that comes a little bit close to NJ bagels but mostly they are all like soft pretzels. It’s very sad.

So CUTE! LOVE your little Rock Star! and I think those pieces work perfectly as earrings! Sometimes I wonder about some of the pieces in a file as well… crazy cute card though! 🙂
