Stick it Down – August, 2017

Here is the August card sketch from Stick it Down.  Looks like lots of possibilities with this one!

Here’s the story about my card.  I needed a birthday card for my brother, who lives in Florida.  He and his wife just drove up to New Jersey to visit family and we all met at my sister’s house.  He also has always loved cars.  So when I picked up the Crocs Rule Cricut cartridge recently and saw this awesome cut of  a male and female crocodile driving in a red car, I knew that was the perfect beginning for his card.

I turned the sketch on its side and for my second and third elements, I chose clouds and a little bird to complete the scene.  The road was made using an old Creative Memories paper cutter.  Here’s the happy couple in their convertible.  They don’t even have to worry about their hair blowing all over!  🙂

Hope you can come and join us this month for either the card sketch, single-page layout sketch, or double-page layout over at Stick it Down!  Winners are invited to be guest designers!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.
