Today is the second day of Sarah, Katie, and my crafty-item swaps. We’re showing what we made with the kit I put together. (See yesterday’s post for details and to see what I made with Katie’s.) This is what was included in my kit.
I did my best to use most of it. I started out with a scrapbook layout using photos from 1998. (Did I ever mention that I’m decades behind on my scrapbooking????) 🙂With the rest, I made a bunch of cards using different stamps from Unity Stamp Co. Here are the leftovers from my kit.And I have a terrible admission to make. 😦
Remember these beautiful leftovers from Katie’s kit? The ones that I actually took a picture of, minus the gold shimmery paper?? I CAN’T FIND THEM!! I remember putting them aside to use on my final project for Friday. I must have put them in a very safe place because I CAN’T FIND THEM!! I’m so sad.
I do have the gold paper, though. I can’t imagine how it got separated from the flower sequins and twine, but I’ve torn my craft room apart looking for them three times, even looked elsewhere in my house, and they’re just nowhere to be found. But you will see the gold paper on Friday, along with the leftovers from my kit and Sarah’s.
Also, I made a fourth identical kit to be given away. If you’d like a chance to win my kit, leave a comment below and be or become a follower of my blog. I’ll use Random.org choose a winner on Tuesday night (8/22) and announce who won on Wednesday.
