DCD #314 – Chevrons and/or Polka Dots

For this week’s Die Cuttin’ Divas’ challenge, the theme is chevrons and/or polka dots.
I used both on this card for Nurses’ Day, which is on May 12, 2017.  You can’t see the chevrons in the photo, though.  😦  They’re embossed on the pink mat.

I started designing this card last year, but decided on a different image for the 2016 Nurses’ Day card.  This cute nurse is clip art, downloaded from here and changed into a cut file in Silhouette Studio.  The font is American Typewriter, elongated and fattened up a little so it cut well.  The mats are from Elegant Edges.  A couple brads here and there and this card is finished!  It’s big – 9″ x 12″.

Link your polka dot/chevron project over at Die Cuttin’ Divas this week!  🙂
