DCD #287 – National Dessert Day

I love it that there’s a National Dessert Day!  I think it should be celebrated every day, don’t you?  Well, we’re celebrating over at Die Cuttin’ Divas.  This is what I came up with:

p1130260It’s a long card to fit in a #10 (business) envelope.  The Truffle Candies were from SVG Cuts.   I didn’t see them there when I went to get you a link so they’re probably not available anymore.  They were really easy to cut, though, and cute!

I popped the center truffle on some foam tape.  The little pink dots on the bottom are those melted Perler beads.  I have tons of them from the one time I made them.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.

  4. What are you talking about….I celebrate it every day! ARE we NOT suppose to? I LOVE this card of yours. I’ve been wanting to use some candy like this with a funny sentiment. I was going to use a house mouse stamp, but something like you used might be even more fun! Love Love love!
