Cut it Up – Summertime Memories

CIU challenge blogWe have a really neat challenge this week  at Cut it Up (and timely, too!)  Summertime Memories.

My project isn’t for memories that have already happened, but for future memories!  I found a set of sand castle tools at Michaels recently and had to pick them up for my grandbaby.  She’s only seven months old right now, so they’ll be for her to make memories with NEXT year!

Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Lou and they gave us images to work with.  Paddling Dorie was the perfect fit, so I decided to make a little tag to dress up the mesh bag.  Dorie comes in black-and-white and in color.  We got the black-and-white image to work with.

The tag itself was from the Silhouette store.P1130011Come on over to Cut it Up and link your Summertime Memories project!  You could win a $5.00 store credit to Digital Delights!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.

This is absolutely darling. My grand baby girl is 2.5 and doesn’t like the ocean! Oh no! They are headed to the beach ne t week. Maybe I could do something like this for her…yours is so dog gone cute. I love how yal are cutting out the image. I’m liking that style too lately. I’m home from beach and staying a while so I think I’ll unpack my suitcase….haha
