DCD #265 – Water Safety Month

May is a good month to make people aware of water safety.  As it heats up, people head to the water to cool down.  Our theme this week at Die Cuttin’ Divas is Water Safety OR Blue in honor of Water Safety Month.  I chose both – water safety AND blue.

Elmo never goes swimming without his goggles. He likes to protect his big, beautiful eyes, and the goggles help him see all the things nature has to offer underwater very clearly.  Flippers help him get farther than he could on his own, because his own feet don’t have webbing between the toes.

Elmo is very energetic, so I placed him on a springy thing from Close to My Heart.  He’s really splashing around!  If you’re nearby, watch out!

Elmo was cut from the Sesame Street Seasons Cricut cartridge.  The clouds were from that cartridge, too, and the waves can be found on the Give a Hoot cartridge.

KaDoodlebug Designs is our sponsor this week and next.  This challenge runs from May 10th through the 16th.  Check out all the adorable projects over at Die Cuttin’ Divas, then go link up your own!

Be safe swimming this summer.  ~Evelyn

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.
