DCD #250 – Chocolate Cake Day

We’re celebrating Chocolate Cake Day over at Die Cuttin’ Divas by using a cake or cupcake on our projects, and we invite you to do the same!

I have so many cupcake files and quite a few cake files, too, but I had the hardest time deciding what I wanted to do.  I finally decided to use a print and cut of a cute cupcake I have on my computer that has no identifiers on it and make a couple of Valentines!  In non-traditional Valentine colors.

P1120003The blue paper is a scrap from my scrap file.  The other is a very old card that I finally decided to trim down and use on my own card.  I cut the hearts out using my Silhouettte and the patterned papers using a Lil’ Inkers die run through my eBosser.

P1110998P1120004I made six of these altogether.

I hope you join us for this fun challenge.  It runs from January 26th to February 1st.  The sponsor is Little Scrap Pieces, who donated some beautiful ribbon!  Stop by Die Cuttin’ Divas to check out the awesome projects made by the other design team members, then link your own!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
