Sock monkeys

Did you make sock monkeys when you were little?  My sisters and I did.  Mine never turned out as good as the ones my mother made, but I remember having fun turning socks into a doll.  (You may remember, I love dolls!!)

All my brothers and sisters had one, so when I saw this Monkey Do file on Designs on Cloud 9, I knew these monkeys would make perfect Christmas cards for them.

I used a Santa hat instead of their beanies and came up with this:

I used stamps from My Craft Spot, Unity Stamp Co, and Close to My Heart.  The twine is Trendy Twine!

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
