Cut it Up – Non-traditional Holiday Card

CIU challenge blogThis week’s Cut it Up challenge is a little tricky, but challenging!  And I like a good challenge!!

Not only could we NOT USE red or green, the card also couldn’t be rectangular or square!  Hmmm.  Had to put my thinking cap on for this one . . .

P1090364webThese chunky snowflakes are from Lettering Delights Weather Boy.  (They’re also in Weather Girl, but I can’t seem to find them on the LD site anymore.  Sad, because those sets were ADORABLE!!)  The words are from Miss Kate’s Cuttables called Christmas Words.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.

This was doubly challenging for me both the color AND shape, but I suppose that is why it is a “challenge” blog 😉 You may have struggled with the creativity, but you clearly nailed the challenge with these sweet cards!

  2. Hi there Evelyn! I thought I would just come right to you to answer your question you had left on my blog! I did the reindeer circle card tag for Craftin Desert Diva’s hop today…that amazing die cut earth is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.
That’s the link if you’d like to check it out!
