Here is the sketch for this week’s challenge at Die Cuttin’ Divas:
It’s fun to play with sketches, and even better when it comes at a time when I need a specific card! Someone who works at my school is leaving and I wanted to make her a card. She’s a very feminine woman, so I knew I wanted a feminine card. This gorgeous dress form from Paper Crafting World was the perfect fit. I cut it in black (so sophisticated!)
The kelly green cardstock is embossed with the Delicate Dots embossing folder and my eBosser, which hubby surprised me with for my birthday. The twine is Lime Licorice Trendy Twine, the little line of pearls at the bottom is from Jolee’s. Except for the card base, all the paper is from my scrap pile! (Love when that happens!!) I like how the dotted pattern is in all the papers in different ways, then repeated again with the pearls and the button.
Let’s see what you can do with this versatile sketch! Link to Die Cuttin’ Divas for your chance to win a prize from KaDoodle Bug Designs. The challenge begins October 7, 2014 and ends October 13th. See you there!
