September 7 is Grandparents’ Day, and we’re celebrating all those PopPops and Grannies over at Cut it Up Challenge Blog!
Two of my co-workers are becoming Grandmothers this summer, so I’m making Grandma’s brag books for them. Here is the first:
Again I was inspired by Ginger from My Sister’s Scrapper. I am really enjoying making these mini albums, so you’re sure to see more of them! The font on the front cover is the only die cut in the whole album, and I can’t even tell you what font it is. I seem to remember it was from a Cricut cartridge, though, but I made it in the beginning of the summer so that information has long since left my brain!! Here are the inside pages. You can click to enlarge them:
Each page is a pocket page containing a large square double-sided photo mat. The paper is Authentique Precious bundle. Isn’t it gorgeous? Such soft colors. Neither grandma knows the sex of her grandchild, so I went on a search for gender-neutral paper. Let me tell you, it’s hard to find!!
Please visit Cut it Up Challenge Blog to see what the other designers have created, and, of course, to link up your own project for Grandparents’ Day! There are two prizes this time. As Cute as a Button is providing a $20 coupon code for their adorable buttons and Die Versions is offering a $15 gift certificate. Good luck!
