I was asked to make some elements for a bulletin board for summer school, specifically some sombreros!  The main sombrero is about 36 inches wide:

Since it’s so big, the pieces didn’t fit onto one mat.  I had to move them around on the virtual mat, cut them in pieces and then tape them together.

There are also 36 smaller ones (7 inches wide) that will have the students’ names on them.  There are more shown in the top photo:

Believe it or not, even though I just made these yesterday and today, I can’t figure out what file I made them from!   I made so many projects in the last 36 hours and didn’t take notes as I went along.  (I hate when that happens, but I was in a groove!!)  If I do figure it out in the future, I’ll be sure to come back and edit this post.  * (see below) I’m pretty sure it was a combination of a couple files, though.  This was a fun project!

* PS – Finally found the file!  It’s from the Silhouette store, called Sombrero and Poncho (59586) Evelyn

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
