Cut it Up – Summer Vacation

CIU challenge blogWoo, hoo!!  It’s summer! (or almost.)

Our theme for this challenge at Cut it Up is Summer Vacation.  I, for one, can’t wait for it to begin!

This card is inspired by road trips.  Someone I love very much is going on a huge road trip this summer.  (You know who you are!!)  I’m going to surprise her with this going away card.  (Surprise!)  I’m disappointed in my photos, though.  In person, the colors are bright and pretty, but I can’t seem to capture them . . .

Maybe this picture is better:

We have two sponsors for our challenge again this week,  Trendy Twine, who donated a sample package of 3 colors of twine, and Artful Delights, who donated a card kit.
