Penguin jacket

P1070824webMy friend and I recently started a little knitting club.  Her daughter requested that we make jumpers for penguins who get caught in oil spills.  Their feathers lose their their waterproof-ness and they get cold; the jackets help keep them warm.  You can read about it here.  It’s unclear whether they still need them or not (see this article) but it sounded like a fun little project and I had some leftover yarn, so I decided to make one!  I followed this pattern.

Cute, huh?

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.

LOL!!! This is so cute!!! Love this. I was asked to create a few too, but between family projects and knitting an afghan, work and creative time, I tell you! I just couldn’t squeeze it in. Looking at yours I just may have to! Super cute Evelyn!!
