Recycled Christmas cards

Every year before I recycle my Christmas cards, I recycle my Christmas cards!  Meaning:    I cut out what I can use and make new cards for the next year.  I did that this morning while watching TV.  Using the cards I received this past Christmas and some paper scraps and twine, I made 16 cards to add to my 2014 stash.  Several were just perfect on their own, so I just cut out the image on the front and taped it down onto a new card base:

Some I cut just small images and re-mounted them:

These two were made using a leftover print and cut Hello Kitty, some leftover paper and vellum, the back of one of my Christmas cards, and some bling:

And this last one used just the sentiment from one of the cards:

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
