Cut it Up – Winter Fun in blue and white

CIU challenge blogTime for another challenge at Cut it Up!  This theme fit perfectly with the snowstorm we just had – Winter Fun using blue and white.  I just took a few pictures of this storm.  I always take one or two of my husband using his snow blower because he actually thinks it IS fun, and because he always wears that cool hat I bought him!!

The background paper is actually a photo I took of the shadows on the virgin snow.  Snow really is blue and white!!

P1070535webThe snowflakes are from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The Snow Much Fun sentiment is from the Winter Frolic cartridge.  I cut it three times – in red, white, and blue.

I wanted a specific phrase to stand out.  Let’s see if you can see it!

P1070536webI’m not much of a snow girl; I prefer summer!  Is it because I was born in August??

Our sponsors for this challenge are Fleurette Bloom, who is donating a $10.oo gift card

Hope to see your winter projects over at Cut it Up Challenge Blog!  The theme again is Winter Fun using Blue and White.

Don’t forget to use a die cut!!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.

Hi Evelyn, I love the blue and white background and the pop of red; one of my most favorite color combinations! I am glad your dh enjoys his hat and snow blower and that you captured the memory 🙂
