Cut it Up Think Pink Challenge

CIU challenge blogHappy Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

At Cut it Up Challenge Blog, we’re celebrating by including PINK on our projects!  How fun!  You can do so much with pink, including (but not limited to) projects for Breast Cancer Awareness.

A woman I work with just celebrated her tenth year of being breast cancer-free.  I wanted to let her know how happy I was for her, so I made her this card:

P1060880webWhen I got this freebie Pirate Parrot from Designs on Cloud 9 (now available for $.99), she looked to me like a woman who has a bald head from chemo, but is in good spirits.  I made several of them with pink bandanas, then when my co-worker announced her good news I was ready to make her a quick card.  The paper is from a breast cancer-themed paper pad by Me and My Big Ideas; the twine is Trendy Twine Black Licorice; and the pearls are from Michaels.

Link up your pink project and you have a chance to win a $20.00 coupon code from As Cute as a Button AND a $10.00 gift certificate from My Scrap Chick!  Wow!  Lots of fun stuff to add to your stash!!  🙂

Go check out the beautiful (and I DO mean beautiful) projects over at Cut it Up!!

Hope to see your project there!

(p.s. Don’t forget to do your monthly breast self exams, and get your mammos!)

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
