Cut it Up Going in Circles challenge

CIU challenge blogThe challenge this time for Cut it Up Challenge Blog is to use circles on your project!  This one was lots of fun!

Not only did we have the challenge of using circles on our projects, but we also each had a fun Itty Bitty stamp from Unity Stamp Company to use!  They’re one of our sponsors this week.  I gave mine away to another Design Team member and used one that I had already bought myself — a science stamp!

solar elemIsn’t it a cutie?

I have so many science pictures taken through the years (a few are even of me!) and I decided to print some out and make a scrapbook page for myself.  I followed this sketch I found by googling something like layout sketches with circles.  Perfect fit!

The circles are from the SCAL shape library.

prize unityAs I mentioned, there are two sponsors this time.

Unity Stamp Company donated 5 Itty Bittys

The Cut it Up challenge starts September 20 and ends October 2, 2013 at noon, EST.  The challenge is Going in Circles – use circles on your project.  And don’t forget to use a die cut!

You should check out the projects the other team members made.  Very creative!!  Then link your Going in Circle project.  Can’t wait to see it!!

  1. Love your layout page. It’s nice that you would include yourself….I know that is hard for I have done none of me…haha Trying to clean out the house to get it ready for sale so I haven’t participated in any challenges. I’m so sorry. Maybe this time with Halloween and gobblins. Just got together with 17 other retired and almost retired teachers and counselors for a fun dinner at a restaurant….4 of them being science teachers…something about them that draws them closer as good friends…haha

Wow! Evelyn, this is a great layout! I’m sure you’re super busy right now. Teaching was always such a joy, but retirement is pretty darn cool too! Love all the circles – I often think circle projects are difficult to create but you rocked this one. Thank you for continuing to visit and leaving such sweet comments.
    Hugs,
    Larelyn

  6. Great layout and use of the science stamp. It ties it all together so nicely, and is super cute! I’ve been teaching for years, and have NO pictures of me in the classroom. Now that I see your layout, I think it would be nice to have some. Thanks for sharing this page.
