Valentine’s Day mini cards

As a member of our school’s Goodwill/Sunshine committee, I needed to make about 60 little valentines for my co-workers.  I love the 3 x 3 size, so I made some of those, but I also bumped it up a little and made mostly 3.5 x 3.5s.  It’s just a little bigger, but still cute-size.

These are from Create a Critter.  I got it last year for Christmas, but didn’t use it as much as I thought I should have.  It has so many adorable images on it, and any of them could be used for Valentine’s Day!  That first one uses the Cuttlebug Hearts embossing folder and Candi.

These are leftover cuts from previous projects.  The turtles are from Pooh and Friends; the mushrooms are from Freshly Picked.  The LOVE file and the heart, I don’t remember where they’re from.  I feel like the LOVE one was a freebie, and the heart could be from anywhere!!

This heart with wings is from Hello Kitty Greetings:

P1050696webThis key-to-my-heart is from my friend, Jayne.  I’m not sure which cartridge she made it with:

This little iguana is from Lettering Delights’ Love Pets.  He comes with a phrase that says Iguana Be With You, but it cut out too small and ripped when I pulled it off the mat:

This little elephant is from the Cricut Sampler cartridge.

This one just uses scraps of paper, Candi, and stamps from Close to My Heart:

This one is from Simply Charmed, the first time I used that cartridge!

I stamped little sentiments inside from Close to My Heart, the Whooo’s Your Valentine stamp set.  So, there they are!  I mixed and matched some red and pink papers from my scraps, added little doo dads here and there, and quick as a flash (read after several days) I had 60 valentines to stuff in mailboxes!  FUN!

I have about three or four full-sized valentines to make.  If I actually get them finished, I’ll show you.

Don’t forget about the Design Team call going on at Cut it Up Challenges.  February 20 is the last day for submissions.  Click here for details!

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.
