25 Days of Christmas and Year ‘Round Crafting – Day 22

Surprise guests?  Sometimes, despite your best planning, you come up a gift short and need to put something together in a hurry.  It’s a good idea to have some fast and fabulous gift ideas at hand, and that’s what we’re showing you today at My Paper Crafting.

As a member of my school’s Sunshine Committee, I made 60 of these little “Elf Droppings” for my co-workers.  Any time you need to make many of something, clip art is your best friend!!elf droppings

P1050381I found the poem many places online.

Another way to make gifts in a hurry is by making multiples of your cutting files and save the extras for later.  I do that all the time.  I always fill up the mat with the largest piece of the cut file, and then make that many of all the other pieces and assemble while watching TV.  I use what I need for the project I’m working on and save the rest.  I have lots of Frappuccino bottles from a friend that I can fill with candies or bath salts, adhere a leftover cut file and some ribbon, and voila!  instant gift!  (see here)

Here is the freebie for today!  Go pick it up at My Paper Crafting, and get some more ideas for last minute gifts.

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper, and that's what I'm currently working with.
