Tiaras

We are continuing to celebrate the second blogaversary for Cooking With Cricut/Paper Crafting World with today’s theme, tiaras or crowns.  I remembered this adorable photo of my daughter.  She loved playing dress up and one of her favorite thing to dress up as was a princess.  Any fancy dress would do; the defining component was the tiara!

I wanted to use a file that was just as fancy as Heather’s dress.  PCW has a queen file and a princess file, but I thought this Cinco de Mayo girl’s outfit was the best match.

Here are the details of my layout:  The tiara is from the Paper Dolls Dress Up Cricut cartridge. It’s on page 52, cut at 1.25 inches.  “Believe” is from Gypsy Wanderings.  The pink flowered paper is from Kate Teague Pink October from Two Peas in a Bucket.  I also used the Eyelet border punch from Stampin’ Up, and I embossed one layer of her dress using the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.

Don’t forget to stop by CWC/PCW to pick up your freebies for today!

About Evelyn

I created this little blog so that I could have a place to show different crafts that I make for my family, my friends, my students, and myself! I have always enjoyed crafting. I particularly love paper and wool, and that's what I'm currently working with.

Nice layout. Pretty photo. WordPress acts strange sometimes when I have to log in & have already entered a comment so not sure if my previous comment is there or not.

Hi, Yolie, yes I knew that Cinco de Mayo bear was your god-daughter!! I love the colors in the original file, but saw the possibilities of using different colors! My adorable daughter is a full-grown woman now. She just celebrated her 30th birthday! You can see how far behind on my scrapbooking I am . . . Thanks for your nice comments!
