Pearls

The theme for today’s project is pearls.  I had an easier time with this one because I knew I wanted to make something using a butterfly with pearls for her body.  This is  one of my favorite Paper Crafting World files, the Scalloped Circle Card.  It has a very sophisticated butterfly on it.  In fact, the entire file is very sophisticated, and that’s one of the reasons I like it so much.  It’s one of my “go to” files;  it’s very versatile.

The blue paper is Pacifica from Close to My Heart.  I embossed the white circle using the Stylized Flower Cuttlebug embossing folder.

The individual pearls are Recollections Adhesive Faux Pearls.  Inside it says “Flyin’ By to say Hi.”  It’s from Pink by Design’s Going Green stamp collection.

I made a second card using the same card base, but used the Swiss Dots embossing folder and another one of my favorite PCW files, Daisies Flower Set.  Again, I love the sophisticated style.  It looks great in blue!

These pearls come already adhered together on a clear background.  They’re from Jolee’s All That Bling Border sticker sheets, and I mounted them on a black ribbon.

This basket of vintage – looks like phlox – is your freebie for today over at Paper Crafting World.  Enjoy!

These card ideas are beautiful. The pearls do indeed add a bit of elegance. Thank you. (I followed the link to PaperCraftingWorld to get the Phlox vintage digi but it’s not there, or at least I couldn’t find it. It is still showing Day 1 stuff so maybe it’s not posted yet.)
